Road closure: 4th Line (10th Sideroad to Sloan Circle Drive)

4th Line (10th Sideroad to Sloan Circle Drive) will be closed for road work from October 20, 2025 to approximately 6 p.m. on October 24, 2025. Local traffic only—no through access during active construction. 4th Line will be open nightly to through traffic.

Road closure: 7th Line (Yonge Street to 20th Sideroad)

7th Line (Yonge Street to 20th Sideroad) will be closed for road reconstruction this fall. The closure is expected to start on October 20, 2025 and be complete by mid-November (weather permitting). Local traffic only.

Road closures: Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Upgrades (Phase 2)

Update: The closure of Tall Tree Lane began on October 6, 2025 and is scheduled to be complete by October 17, 2025. Read the full resident notice for details.

As part of the Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Improvements project, the following roads will be closed to local traffic and emergency vehicles only starting at 7 a.m. on August 25, 2025:

  • Buchanan Street
  • Crystal Beach Road (Hartley Road to Roberts Road)
  • Roberts Road (Crystal Beach Road to Alderslea Crescent)
  • Tall Tree Lane
