The Town of Innisfil strongly believes in transparency. We value the role the media plays in sharing information with the public. Our Communications Services department will respond to all media requests as quickly as possible.

Submitting a media request

Please direct all media requests to Communications at communications@innisfil.ca. This is the fastest way to make sure you get the information you need to meet your deadline.

We can provide you with interviews, research, photo and video opportunities, and story ideas. We welcome all opportunities to accommodate journalists looking for creative and unique ways to tell a story. We would love to brainstorm with you!

Procedures and guidelines to help meet your deadline

  • The sooner you contact us, the sooner we can get what you need. If there is any reason for delay, we will let you know right away.
  • If you are coming to Innisfil Town Hall or any of our facilities, please let us know in advance.
  • There may be times when privacy or sensitive information is an issue. We will do our best to let you know when this is the case right away.
  • While we strive to be timely and responsive, there will be times when someone may not be available to speak to you. We thank you in advance for your patience.

Speaking to a member of Council

Please direct all interview requests for the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and members of Council to communications@innisfil.ca. Scheduling can be a challenge, but we can help you connect with them.
