The Innisfil Audit Committee advises and assists Council in the provision of effective municipal government by reviewing the administrative systems regarding:

  • Financial accounting
  • Reporting
  • Internal controls
  • Safeguarding of corporate assets
  • Compliance with legal, ethical and regulatory requirements
  • Efficient and effective use of resources

The Committee serves as a communication focal point between Council, the external auditor and management. Members facilitate an impartial, objective and independent review of management practices through internal and external functions.

We're currently looking for two citizen members to serve on the Innisfil Audit Advisory Committee for the 2022-2026 term of Council.

Meetings
