The Innisfil Audit Advisory Committee advises and assists Council in the provision of effective municipal government by reviewing the administrative systems regarding:

  • Financial accounting
  • Reporting
  • Internal controls
  • Safeguarding of corporate assets
  • Compliance with legal, ethical and regulatory requirements
  • Efficient and effective use of resources

The Committee serves as a communication focal point between Council, the external auditor and management. Members facilitate an impartial, objective and independent review of management practices through internal and external functions.

Meetings

Meetings will be scheduled throughout the year, except for the month of July. Meetings may be held in person at Town Hall, 2101 Innisfil Beach Road, or may be held virtually as determined by the committee. You can view upcoming meetings on our Committee Calendar.
