Multi-Year Accessibility Plan
The Town of Innisfil is committed to a community where everyone can live, work and play. We developed our Multi-Year Accessibility Plan with guidance from the Innisfil Accessibility Advisory Committee (IAAC) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
Objectives
Our Multi-Year Accessibility Plan aims to create and maintain accessible and inclusive:
- Information and communication standards
- Employment standards
- Transportation standards
- Design of public spaces standards
- Customer service standards
Tracking progress
We provide annual updates on actions taken to improve accessibility, prevent and remove barriers, and implement the requirements set out by the Province of Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR).

Advice for making your business accessible
The Innisfil Accessibility Advisory Committee is here to help you understand legislation that regulates accessibility requirements in Ontario. There are standards around customer service, transportation, buildings and infrastructure.
