Third Annual "Scrooge the Ticket" Campaign a Tremendous Success!

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is proud to announce that this year’s “Scrooge the Ticket” campaign has raised approximately $2,800 in toys, non-perishable food items, gift cards and funds for the Innisfil Food Bank, a program run by the Innisfil Community Church. Anyone who received a parking fine between November 20th and December 9th in Innisfil had the option of donating instead. Since it began three years ago, the “Scrooge the Ticket” campaign has raised approximately $7,000 for the Innisfil Food Bank.

“Nobody likes getting a ticket, but our residents have told us how much they love this program, and it shows,” said Innisfil Mayor Gord Wauchope. “All the toys, goods and funds will go towards making the season a little brighter for those who could use some help in our community.”

In additional, staff at the Town of Innisfil, Innisfil ideaLAB & Library, InnServices, Innisfil Fire & Rescue Services raised just over $1,300 for the Innisfil Food Bank and other charitable organizations.
