The Town of Innisfil is currently seeking a resident interested in serving on the Innisfil Accessibility Advisory Committee (IAAC) for the remainder of the 2022-2026 term of Council. Committee members include persons representing a range of disabilities as defined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil continues cleanup efforts following the recent ice storm that caused widespread damage and power outages. Crews are actively working across the town, prioritizing roads before moving into parks, trails, and other public spaces. Cleanup will take time due to the extent of damage, and residents are asked to be patient as crews remove hazards based on priority and safety.

Ice Storm Response and Updates

The Town of Innisfil declared a Significant Weather Event on March 30, 2025 at 9 a.m. in accordance with the Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways. The weekend storm caused severe ice conditions that led to power outages, downed trees and powerlines, and hazardous road conditions.
The Significant Weather Event will remain in place until crews are able to clear all roads of tree debris.
