Metrolinx Corridor Work - Barrie Line in Innisfil

Essential upgrades are underway at Killarney Beach Road to support the electrification of the Barrie GO Line. This Metrolinx project will prepare for the future overhead catenary system (OCS), enabling cleaner and more efficient train service. The GO Expansion will transform the GO rail network from a commuter service into an all-day, rapid system.

Innisfil, ON – The Troy Scott Community Fridge (TSCF) at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Lakeshore Branch has made an exciting move outdoors! The TSCF can now be accessed outside the Lakeshore Branch on the west side near Town Square to facilitate 24/7 access to nutritious food for Innisfil residents.
