Town of Innisfil draft Official Plan meeting switching to virtual

Innisfil, ON – Due to the weather forecast, the Town of Innisfil is switching to a virtual format for the Official Plan Review ‘open house’ that was scheduled for January 6.

The Official Plan review is a key document that will guide how the town grows and develops through to 2051.

“Share the Love” on Valentine’s Day

The Town of Innisfil is pleased to announce that its “Share the Love” campaign is back again. Fees collected from wedding ceremonies will be donated to support the Troy Scott Community Fridges.

Want to ‘tie the knot’? The Town is offering civil marriage ceremonies or vow renewals on Saturday, February 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Council Chambers.

Significant Weather Event declaration lifted in Innisfil

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil has lifted the Significant Weather Event which was declared in response to the inclement weather over the past number of days.

The Town’s snow clearing crews have recovered the state of most roads, but motorists are reminded to always drive according to conditions. Town crews will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and will respond as necessary.

Update: The Significant Weather Event declaration was lifted on January 1, 2026.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is declaring a Significant Weather Event in response to continued inclement weather that has resulted in a significant amount of snow, icy roads and high winds. The declaration will remain in effect until further notice.
