Town of Innisfil receives award of excellence...Notice of Public Meeting - CPPS By-law Amendment

The Town has initiated text and map amendments to the Town’s CPPS By-law 058-25 to implement housekeeping updates intended to improve clarity, consistency and alignment with the Town’s Zoning By-law 080-13 and former CPPS ‘Our Shore’ By-law 062-17. The changes are intended to clarify how the By-law is applied. Key changes include:
- Clarifying permitted uses and definitions
- Updating exemptions, variation thresholds, and permit requirements particularly within the Shoreline Residential (SR) Precinct

Town of Innisfil lifts Significant Weather Event

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil has lifted the Significant Weather Event that was declared on February 18, 2026.
While winter maintenance activities continue, the Town is able to meet the requirements outlined in the Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways under Ontario Regulation 239/02. Residents are encouraged to view when routes were last serviced at innisfil.ca/snow and keep parked vehicles off the road to assist with snow clearing efforts.

Significant Weather Event declared in the Town of Innisfil

Update: The Significant Weather Event declaration was lifted on February 19, 2026.
Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is declaring a Significant Weather Event in response to hazardous winter weather that has resulted in slippery conditions and challenging travel throughout the region. The declaration will remain in effect until further notice.
