Mayor Dollin re-elected to AMO Board

Innisfil, ON – At the Annual Conference of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) in Ottawa, Lynn Dollin, Mayor, Town of Innisfil was elected to the AMO Board of Directors, Caucus Chair, Small Urban Caucus.

Mayor Dollin held the position of President of AMO from 2016 to 2018 and has held a seat on their Board of Directors since 2011.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil, Innisfil ideaLAB & Library and members of the community celebrated the grand opening of the outdoor Troy Scott Community Fridge in Cookstown this week. The fridge moved from its temporary home inside the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Cookstown branch to its permanent home outdoors earlier this week, now offering residents 24/7, low-barrier, dignified access to food.

Proposed changes to 2023 final capped class property tax bill due dates

Effective 2022, there are no longer any capped class adjustments for properties in the Town of Innisfil. “Capping” previously applied to Commercial, Industrial and Multi-Residential property tax classes. As part of the Tax Levying By-law, staff are proposing a change in due dates starting in 2023 to align with the Town’s other property tax classes.
