Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil reminds residents of the following schedule changes during the holiday period. Essential services and emergency operations will continue to operate.

Innisfil Town Hall

Innisfil Town Hall will be closed from December 25 to January 1. Regular hours will resume at 8:30 a.m. on January 2, 2024.

Community Building Fund grant used to improve Morgan Russell Memorial Arena and Community Centre

Innisfil, ON – On Friday, the Hon. Andrea Khanjin, MPP Barrie-Innisfli, had an opportunity to tour and hear about the impact that a $324,700 Community Building Fund grant had on the Town of Innisfil’s plans to make key improvements to the Morgan Russell Memorial Arena and Community Centre. The grant which, was awarded in late 2021 by the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Trillium Foundation, supported many projects to ensure this facility is a safe, welcoming and accessible place for all.

Innisfil, ON – Members of the Town of Innisfil Council were joined by Hugh Heron, Principal, Chairman of Heathwood Homes and Heron Homes, Herity and The Mikey Network and Dave Pratt, Team Lead, Tarpin Lumber and Truss for the installation of a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at Innisfil Beach Park.

Innisfil, ON – Members of the Town of Innisfil Council, along with representatives from the Troy Scott Community Fridges and the Innisfil Food Bank, gathered to celebrate the results from the ninth annual ‘Scrooge the Ticket’ campaign.

From November 13 to 27, anyone who received an Innisfil parking ticket had the option to donate money, children’s toys, gift cards, or non-perishable food items to charity instead of paying their fine.

Red light cameras activated in Innisfil to enhance road safety

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil has installed red light cameras at the intersection of King Street and Queen/Church Street, also known as Highway 89 and Highway 27, in Cookstown. The program’s goal is to improve road safety and driver behaviour at one of Innisfil’s busiest intersections through the use of an automatic enforcement tool.
