Innisfil, ON – The spotlight was on the Town of Innisfil last week as startup founders from DMZ’s Global community descended upon Friday Harbour to learn more about DMZ Innisfil, rural innovation and starting a business in Canada.

Construction at the South Innisfil Arboretum

South Innisfil Arboretum will be temporarily closed due to trail construction beginning July 4, 2023 at 8 a.m. The work is scheduled to be completed by the last week of July 2023, weather permitting.
What to expectThe Town is constructing a two-metre-wide limestone screenings trail at South Innisfil Arboretum and a two-metre-wide asphalt trail connecting the existing Nantyr Drive and Ralston Loop walkways. The trails will conform to AODA standards.

Innisfil, ON – The Innisfil Mayor’s Golf Tournament returned to The Nest at Friday Harbour Resort yesterday, raising $66,000 for the Innisfil Community Foundation. The annual event brought together 144 golfers for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving.

Innisfil, ON – Music in the Park is returning across Innisfil to bring live music to community members and shine a spotlight on local talent. Starting June 26, the free event series features a variety of musicians and music genres all summer long.

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is thrilled to announce the opening of a permanent dog beach at Innisfil Beach Park. Starting today, residents and visitors can bring their furry friends to enjoy the sun, sand, and waves at the new off-leash area at Beach 6.
