Innisfil hosting election help centres to assist voters in the 2022 municipal election

Update: We've added an additional help centre on Thursday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Hub in Sandycove, located at 4 Weeping Willow Drive.

Innisfil, ON – To help prepare residents for the upcoming Municipal and School Board Election, the Town of Innisfil's elections team will be hosting pop-up Election Help Centres at various locations throughout the municipality.

Innisfil, ON – Innisfil’s new Junior C hockey team—the Innisfil Spartans—is hosting their inaugural Home Opener game at the Innisfil Recreational Complex (Red “Cortellucci” Rink) this Saturday, September 24. Traffic calming pilot project underway in Innisfil

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is currently piloting several traffic calming measures in select areas where existing data and reports show high speeds—despite the posted speed limit.

Measures are being tested in three locations: Shore Acres Drive (on-road pavement markings with the speed limit sign wording of 50 km/h), Belle Aire Beach Road (chicanes with a barrier curb and barrels), and Maple Road (flexible bollards, speed cushions and a raised pedestrian crossing).

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is inviting residents to participate in an online survey to help inform its 2023 and 2024 budget development.

Every two years, the Town develops a municipal budget to determine the cost of providing services to residents. The Operating and Capital budgets are then presented to Council for adoption.

Innisfil, ON – We are saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Balmoral Castle, Scotland at the age of 96.

She was a respected monarch who navigated through some of the most challenging times in our history, all the while raising her family and committing to public service.
