Road closure: Sections of Lockhart Road and 25th Sideroad

Lockhart Road (Earl Street to Lake Simcoe) and 25th Sideroad (Henderson Drive to 60 m south of Ireton Street) will be temporarily closed on June 16, 2025 at 7 a.m. to June 20, 2025 at 6 p.m. due to paving works.

Innisfil Recreational Complex to begin phased reopening starting June 9

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is pleased to announce the phased reopening of the Innisfil Recreational Complex (IRC) following the fire incident that occurred on May 12.

Town shares update on the reopening of the Innisfil Recreational Complex

Innisfil, ON – Restoration work continues at the Innisfil Recreational Complex (IRC) following the fire incident on May 12, 2025. The facility, which contains the Innisfil YMCA, remains closed while critical repairs and safety assessments are completed. 

As part of the ongoing recovery process, air duct cleaning and air quality testing have been identified as necessary next steps to ensure the building meets safety standards for public use.

Road closure: 6th Line (Webster Boulevard to Angus Street)

6th Line from Webster Boulevard to Angus Street will be temporarily closed for development works from Monday, June 2 at 6 a.m. to Friday, June 13 at 6 p.m.

9th Line (Yonge Street to 20th Sideroad) will be temporarily closed on May 22, 2025 from 9 a.m. to noon to support County of Simcoe construction.
