Service Disruptions and Road Closures

Road closure: 4th Line (10th Sideroad to Sloan Circle Drive)

Update: This closure has been extended to October 25, 2025.

4th Line will be closed for road work from October 20, 2025 to approximately 6 p.m. on October 24, 2025:

• 10th Sideroad to Sloan Circle Drive: Hard closure, no through traffic
• Sloan Circle Drive to Valley View Drive: Soft closure, local traffic only

4th Line will be open nightly to through traffic.

25th Sideroad (Leslie Drive to Innisfil Beach Road)

Update: This road closure has been rescheduled to October 7-15 due to unexpected groundwater issues found during construction.

The following roads will be closed for water works related to the Innisfil Beach Park revitalization project:

• 25th Sideroad (Leslie Drive to Innisfil Beach Road)
• Lebanon Drive (Raynor Court to 25th Sideroad)

The closure is expected from 6 a.m. on September 25, 2025 to September 26, 2025 at 6 p.m. Access for local traffic and emergency services only. There will be no access...

Road closure: 7th Line (Yonge Street to 20th Sideroad)

7th Line (Yonge Street to 20th Sideroad) will be closed for road reconstruction this fall. The closure is expected to start on October 20, 2025 and be complete by mid-November (weather permitting). Local traffic only.

Road closures: Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Upgrades (Phase 2)

Update: The closure of Tall Tree Lane began on October 6, 2025 and is scheduled to be complete by October 22, 2025. 

As part of the Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Improvements project, the following roads will be closed to local traffic and emergency vehicles only starting at 7 a.m. on August 25, 2025:

• Buchanan Street
• Crystal Beach Road (Hartley Road to Roberts Road)
• Roberts Road (Crystal Beach Road to Alderslea Crescent)
• Tall Tree Lane 

The closure is expected to last until mid-October 2025. 

Road closure: Lynn Street near Yonge Street

Lynn Street (Yonge Street to east of the Tim Hortons entrance) will be closed on October 6, 2025 at 6 a.m. to October 7, 2025 at 6 p.m. due to paving works.

You can continue to access local businesses from Yonge Street or Lynn Street, west of the closure.
