Town of Innisfil shares holiday closure schedule

Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is reminding residents of holiday closures and schedule changes at Town facilities. Essential services, including snow clearing and emergency response, will continue without interruption.

Innisfil Town Hall

Town Hall will close at 12 p.m. on December 24 and reopen with regular business hours at 8:30 a.m. on January 2, 2026.

Road closure: Goodfellow Avenue (Crystal Beach Road to dead end) and Bonsecour Crescent

Update (November 25): This closure has been extended to December 8, 2025.

The following roads will be closed for sanitary sewer and drainage upgrades related to the Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Improvements project:

  • Goodfellow Avenue (Crystal Beach Road to the dead end)
  • Bonsecour Crescent

The closure is expected from October 16, 2025 to November 28, 2025. Access for local traffic and emergency services only.

Road closure: Buchanan, Hartley, and Crystal Beach

Update (November 25): The closure of Buchanan Street has been extended to December 15, 2025.

The following roads will be closed from October 20-24, 2025 for phase 1 of the Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Improvements Project:

  • Hartley Road
  • Crystal Beach Road (Hartley Road to Roberts Road)

Buchanan Street will remain closed until November 28, 2025 for phase 2 work. Access for local traffic and emergency vehicles only.

Holiday parade road closures

Please take note that holiday parades will result in temporary road closures on November 22 and 23, 2025. Expect delays and detours in affected areas as we celebrate the season! Road closure: 6th Line (Yonge Street to 5th Sideroad)

6th Line (Yonge Street to 5th Sideroad) will be closed for the County of Simcoe's culvert replacement at the 6th Line/10th Sideroad intersection starting November 13, 2025 at 7 a.m. The closure is expected to last until November 14, 2025 at 4 p.m., weather permitting.
