What is the Heritage Committee?
The Innisfil Heritage Advisory Committee is constituted to provide advice and recommendations to Council on local heritage matters relating to the Ontario Heritage Act., including the preservation and conservation of buildings within Innisfil that have been deemed historically, culturally or architecturally significant to the community. Committee members also help to promote and educate local residents on heritage issues within the Town; review and identify potential Heritage properties; and advise Council on potential Heritage designations.
Committee meetings are held at Innisfil Town Hall on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. except for the month of July. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic meetings are currently being held virtually. Please be advised that meeting dates may be subject to change.
