The Town of Innisfil is planning the proposed road rehabilitation of Queen Street and Church Street, also known as the "Cookstown Connecting Link".

Upcoming construction

The construction limits are on Queen Street and Church Street from Cookstown’s west limit (20 metres west of the Home Hardware Building Centre entrance) to Cookstown’s east limit (approximately 280 metres east of Albert Street).

The work includes:

  • Resurfacing of the road
  • Pavement marking restoration and painting new parking stalls
  • Replacement of some concrete curb and gutter
  • Adjustments to existing maintenance holes and catch basins

This project is supported with funding from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation's Connecting Links program

Pre-Condition Survey

We've retained GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Monir Precision Monitoring to carry out pre-condition building assessments for homes close to the proposed construction. The inspection will involve a simple review to document the existing visible conditions of the exterior and interior of each property.

Pre-condition survey work is scheduled to begin the week of June 3, 2024. You can review the construction newsletter for more information.
