Three new development parks are open in the Town of Innisfil! Parks include:

  • Grainger Loop Park in Alcona, 2192 Lozenby St.
  • McNeil Street Park in Alcona, 2014 McNeil St.
  • Mumberson Street Park in Cookstown, 36 Mumberson St.

Construction was completed on schedule for fall 2024.

Grainger Loop Park

Grainger Loop Park is located in the Alcona Capital Development. This park will include a Pirate Ship Playground where kids can immerse themselves in imaginative scenarios, pretending to be pirates sailing the high seas, searching for treasure, or engaging in epic battles!

McNeil Street Park

McNeil Street Park is located in the Alcona Downs development. The small park will include a concrete walkway, benches, plantings and story boards. Even though this small park doesn't have extensive amenities, it offers residents a nearby space to relax and read a book outdoors, kick a ball around, play bocce ball with friends and family, and more.

Mumberson Park

Mumberson Park is located in the Cookshill North development. This park connects to the Trans Canada Trail and includes a unique playground with the following features:

  • Junior play feature for children ages 2-5 with 16 interactive activities
    • A climbing structure
    • Double slides
    • Interactive panels
  • Swing set with an accessible bucket swing, bucket swing for little swingers, and belt swing
