6th Line - County Road 27 to St. John's Road
In September 2016, the Town of Innisfil completed a Schedule 'C' Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study (Class EA) for transportation improvements to the 6th Line from County Road 27 to St. John's Road. Improvements for this project considered opportunities to:
- Better serve motorists, pedestrians and cyclists
- Help manage increasing traffic resulting from development growth in Innisfil
The study considered the need to widen the road from two lanes to four. It supported the development of a sustainable transportation system, with a strong focus on active transportation and protection of future transit opportunities.
