Declaration of Emergency
A state of emergency has been declared in Innisfil under the Emergency Management & Civil Protection Act. This declaration was made after receiving advice based on the most recent information from the Medical Officer of Health. This decision is supported by the Town’s Emergency Control Group, and the emergency declarations made by the County of Simcoe and the Province of Ontario.
The declaration of a municipal emergency is part of our ongoing effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 and ensures that we can continue to act and respond quickly to the pandemic. No matter what happens, the Town of Innisfil will continue to provide essential services like Fire and Rescue, Police, Water and Wastewater.
