COVID-19 continues to circulate in our community. Please see below for information on COVID-19 vaccinations, the Ministry of Health’s self-assessment tool, and the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s COVID-19 HealthSTATS website.

Protect yourself and others

Remember that the more layers of protection you use, the safer you are against COVID-19. The following are steps you can take to protect yourself and others:

  • Get vaccinated (especially booster doses) and stay up-to-date with all your eligible vaccinations
  • Stay home when sick
  • Take extra precautions after being exposed or testing positive with no symptoms
  • Consider wearing a face mask at indoor public places
  • Work from home when possible
  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Cover your sneeze or cough

Operating your business safely

Businesses continue to play an important role in limiting the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. We encourage businesses and organizations to review their procedures and take the necessary steps to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection. Higher risk settings are to use sector-specific guidance.

State of emergency status

The Town of Innisfil ended the State of Emergency on April 4, 2022. We declared an emergency on March 24, 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We'll continue monitoring the COVID-19 situation, responding as necessary to keep residents safe.
