COVID-19
Even as public health restrictions have eased, highly transmissible variants of COVID-19 continue to spread in our community. It's important that everyone understands how to assess and reduce their personal risk, and take precautions when out in public.
Facility and program updates
Visit our Return to Play page for safety protocols on how we operate our facilities (e.g. arenas, meeting rooms, outdoor spaces) and programs.
Our Corporate Mask Policy mandates the wearing of a face covering by anyone in the common areas of Rizzardo Health and Wellness Centre (e.g. waiting areas, common corridors, stairways, elevators, washrooms, etc.) unless otherwise exempted.
Protect yourself and others
Remember that the more layers of protection you use, the safer you are against COVID-19. The following are steps you can take to protect yourself and others:
- Get vaccinated (especially booster doses) and stay up-to-date with all your eligible vaccinations
- Stay home when sick
- Self-isolate if you have COVID-19 or if you have any symptoms of COVID-19
- Continue wearing a face mask at indoor public places
- Physically distance from those outside your household
- Avoid crowds
- Work from home whenever possible
- Choose well-ventilated spaces
- Wash your hands frequently
- Cover your sneeze or cough
State of emergency status
The Town of Innisfil ended the State of Emergency on April 4, 2022. We declared an emergency on March 24, 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We'll continue monitoring the COVID-19 situation, responding as necessary to keep residents safe.
