Speak Your Mind Presents HEADSTRONG Youth Mental Health Summit
On June 4, 2025, the Town of Innisfil is inviting over 200 Grade 8 students to the Innisfil Recreational Complex for Speak Your Mind Presents HEADSTRONG Youth Mental Health Summit. HEADSTRONG is a Mental Health Commission of Canada program designed to give youth (ages 12 to 19) the tools, skills, and confidence to be mental health champions in their school and communities.
This one-day event is offered as a school field trip to educate Grade 8 students about mental wellness as they prepare for the transition to high school. For more information and to find out if your class is participating, please contact your school.
The Summit is made possible by the Government of Canada’s Building Safer Communities Fund and the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s HEADSTRONG initiative.
