The Town of Innisfil offers a wide range of cooking and food programs designed to help you enhance your culinary skills, improve your health, and enjoy a more active and vibrant lifestyle.

Registration opens on Active Innisfil on the first of every month.

Programs

Family and Friends - Neighbours Helping Neighbours

In this program, we welcome participants ages 10+ to join family and friends in preparing simple, balanced meals to package and drop off at the Troy Scott Community Fridges.

Youth Neighbours Helping Neighbours

Give back to your community and earn community service hours! In this program, youth participants ages 12 to 17 prepare simple, balanced meals to package and drop off at the Troy Scott Community Fridges

Cooking Up Community (55+)

Learn how to prepare simple, balanced meals that optimize health while aging. You'll cook the meal as a group in the Horodynsky Community Kitchen and then enjoy it together.

Senior Meal Kits (55+)

Try a new recipe and challenge your cooking skills with the monthly Senior Meal Kits. Each food box includes a written recipe and pre-portioned ingredients. Registration opens on the 1st of every month.

Kids in the Kitchen

Children take the lead alongside their caregivers to explore food and prepare child-friendly recipes. Extra portions are packaged for the Troy Scott Community Fridges.
