The Town of Innisfil welcomes vendors to Town Square! We invite interested sales and/or service vendors to submit an application to set up shop at the vendor and market space at Town Square

How to apply

To take part in this program, you must submit a completed Town Square concession application along with the following documents to activeinnisfil@innisfil.ca:

  • Valid insurance, naming the Town as co-insured 
  • Valid health certificate from Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit for food vendors
  • Business licence (if required) 

Note: Concession operations do have special requirements and guidelines. A Town of Innisfil Facility Permit must be signed and returned with payment for your application to be approved.

Guidelines

Permit guidelines

  • Your shop can only operate during the time noted on your permit
  • Permits are valid from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. per your booking
  • You may provide promotional brochures to customers, but are subject to restrictions based on the type of service provided. Soliciting on Town property is prohibited, as reflected in our Parks By-law. Businesses are able to provide operational information, flyers, brochures, and other such items to any person who approaches the vendor. 

Set up guidelines

  • You are responsible for providing your own equipment and resources
    • We do not supply the renter with a fridge, freezer, etc. 
  • You are responsible for the set-up and clean-up of your vending location
    • Please take any excess garbage from your site with you

Services not permitted

It is not permitted to serve or consume alcoholic beverages.

Signage

Signage must be printed and posted on a free-standing structure outlining the Company name, operational times, and contact information. Signage is permitted only within the area assigned and must be pre-approved by Town Staff.

Fees

Rental fees are $375 per month, subject to HST, and include electricity, water, counter space, and triple sinks. A 20% non-resident charge applies. Prices are subject to change. Insurance is required for all vendors, naming the Town of Innisfil co-insured. Insurance may be available for purchase from the Town at an additional fee.

Payment methods

You must pay all rental fees by the payment date on your permit. You can pay by:

  • Visa, Mastercard or American Express
  • Debit - pay at Town Hall through Customer Service
  • Cash - pay at Town Hall through Customer Service
  • Cheque - must be made payable to “Town of Innisfil” and provided at least 30 days before the permit start date. A $30 service charge will apply to any NSF (non-sufficient funds) cheque
