The Town of Innisfil offers pop-up shop opportunities at our most popular beaches during the warmer months! We invite sales/service vendors and food trucks to submit an application to set up shop at Innisfil Beach Park and Leonard's (10th Line) Beach

How to apply

To take part in this program, you must submit a completed Pop-Up Shop application along with the following documents to activeinnisfil@innisfil.ca:

  • Valid insurance, naming the Town as co-insured 
  • Valid health certificate from Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit for food vendors
  • Business licence (if required) 

Note: Food trucks do have special requirements and guidelines. See our Food Truck Licence page for details. A Town of Innisfil Facility Permit must be signed and returned with payment for your application to be approved.

Guidelines

Permit guidelines

  • Your pop-up shop can only operate at Innisfil Beach Park or Leonard's Beach during the time noted on your permit
  • Pop-up shop permits are valid from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the day of your booking
  • The location is a maximum of 10x10 feet of space. If you need more space, please consult with us at the time of booking
  • You will get a pre-approved location depending on availability. Look for the marked area or ask Parks staff for assistance when setting up on the day of your approved permit
  • You are not permitted to move locations without approval from the Town's Park Staff
  • You may provide promotional materials related to your service to customers at your vendor location

Set up guidelines

  • Plan to arrive early to give yourself time to park, make it to your approved spot, and set-up
    • For non-resident permit holders, the Town of Innisfil will provide one temporary parking pass. It cannot be used outside your permitted date and time
  • You are responsible for providing your own equipment and resources
    • We do not supply pop-up shop vendors with tents, tables, chairs, etc.
  • Tents, tables, electronic cashiers and payment devices are allowed
    • Screened tents are allowed. The interior of the tent must be visible from the outside. Tents must be weighted down, but not staked
  • Do not move or occupy park picnic tables
  • You are responsible for the set-up and clean-up of your vendor location
    • There is no overnight storage
    • Please take any excess garbage from your site with you

Services not permitted

It is not permitted to serve or consume alcoholic beverages. Motorized water sports equipment is not permitted. 

Signage

Signage must be printed and posted on a free-standing structure outlining the company name, operational times, and contact information. Signage is permitted only within the area assigned and must be pre-approved by Town Staff.

Fees

Review rental fees, subject to HST. A 20% non-resident charge applies. Prices are subject to change. Permits are valid from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

Innisfil Beach Park (no electricity)

For 10x10 pre-approved open space (no shelter included):

  • 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) - $150
  • 5 days (Monday to Friday) - $100
  • 7 days (Monday to Sunday) - $250
  • Monthly - $500

Innisfil Beach Park (with electricity) 

For limited 10x10 pre-approved open space (no shelter included):

  • 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) - $175
  • 5 days (Monday to Friday) - $125
  • 7 days (Monday to Sunday) - $300
  • Monthly - $750

Leonard's (10th Line) Beach (no electricity)

For 10x10 pre-approved open space (no shelter included):

  • 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) - $125
  • 5 days (Monday to Friday) - $100
  • 7 days (Monday to Sunday) - $200
  • Monthly - $375

Payment methods

You must pay all rental fees by the payment date on your permit. You can pay by:

  • Visa, Mastercard or American Express
  • Debit - pay at Town Hall through Customer Service
  • Cash - pay at Town Hall through Customer Service
  • Cheque - must be made payable to “Town of Innisfil” and provided at least 30 days before the permit start date. A $30 service charge will apply to any NSF (non-sufficient funds) cheque
