Boat Launches
Whether you're looking to head out on the water to fish, water ski, sail or boat around for the day, you can use one of the three boat launches available in Innisfil. Review the boat launch locations and parking regulations before you plan your trip.
Innisfil Beach Park boat launch
We operate a public boat launch from Innisfil Beach Park. This boat launch is two lanes: one for launching boats and another to pull boats out of the water. The boat launch at Innisfil Beach Park is our largest municipally-maintained launch and suitable for most passenger sized boats up to about 30 feet. Docks are available from May to late October.
Parking
If you're an Innisfil resident, you can access free parking at Innisfil Beach Park when you display a Resident Parking Pass. If you're from out of town, you must pay to park your vehicle and boat trailer. There are 35 parking spots exclusively for boat trailers, including ten resident-only spots and three accessible permit spots. Overflow parking is available near the soccer fields in Lot F. Review our municipal parking lots and rates for more information.
15-Minute Docks
After launching your boat in the water, you can anchor at the 15-Minute Docks while you park your vehicle and trailer. It’s the perfect way to get your boat in the water and park your vehicle quickly, without holding up the busy line. Please remember the 15-Minute Docks are not meant to be used for long-term docking.
Shore Acres boat launch
There is a public boat launch located at 1090 Shore Acres Dr. that is open seven days a week from May to late October.
Parking
If you're an Innisfil resident, you can access free parking at the Shore Acres Lot located on Neilly Road when you display a Resident Parking Pass. If you're from out of town, you will need to pay to park at the Shore Acres Lot. Review our municipal parking lots and rates for more information.
Isabella Street boat launch
There is a public boat launch located at 977 Isabella St. that is open seven days a week from May to late September. The boat launch is one lane wide and recommended for smaller watercraft.
Parking
This boat launch does not have a public parking lot.
Road end use
Many of our local roads provide an access point to Lake Simcoe and are multi-use. You can use these areas to launch kayaks and canoes. Swimmers may use these areas at their own risk. There is no designated swimming area, and the water is not tested by the health unit for changing bacteria levels.
