Off-Leash Dog Areas
The Town of Innisfil has Off-Leash Dog Areas where you can let your dog run free and play with other dogs. These spaces let you socialize your dog while giving them lots of exercise!
Locations and hours
You can visit two fenced-in Off-Leash Dog Areas that include lots of trees for sniffing and open space to run around.
Centennial Park
Located at 2870 7th Line, the dog park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers free parking, seasonal washrooms and dog agility equipment.
Innisfil Beach Park
Located at 676 Innisfil Beach Park, the dog area is situated between the boat launch and Beach 2 at the most eastern point of the park. It's open year-round from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers water access for dogs. For the safety of dogs and people, walking on the ice during the colder months is not recommended.
Innisfil Beach Park offers free parking for residents displaying a valid resident parking pass or paid parking for visitors.
Rules and regulations
While using the Off-Leash Dog Areas, you are responsible for your pet and must clean up after them. Please follow all park regulations:
- Dog park users and dog owners assume all risks while in the park
- No dogs in heat, exhibiting sickness, or under 3 months of age are allowed
- Dog licences must be current and visible on the dog
- An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 16, and no more than three dogs may accompany any owner. An adult must remain present while dogs are in the park
- No food (human or canine) or dog toys are allowed
- Any animals behaving aggressively must vacate the park immediately
- No choke, spike, pinch (prong) or electronic (shock) collars or head halters are allowed. Muzzles may be used
- All dogs must remain on-leash inside the entrance corral before entering or exiting the park. Dogs are not permitted to run off-leash outside the confines of the Off-Leash Dog Area
- No smoking is permitted within nine metres of the Off-Leash Dog Area
