Tobogganing
The Town of Innisfil has a toboggan hill at Innisfil Beach Park at 676 Innisfil Beach Road, Lot G for you and your family to enjoy.
The toboggan hill closes at dusk or if there are hazardous conditions or ongoing maintenance. Please respect the posted signage and stay off a closed hill. Never sled after dark as the hill will not be lit. You can report unsafe conditions by email or call 705-436-3710.
Safe tobogganing tips
Although tobogganing is fun, it comes with risks and many people are injured every year in sledding accidents. To help make sure that you have a safe sledding season, we suggest you:
- Use CSA-approved ski or hockey helmets
- Always supervise children while sledding
- Use care and caution, stay in control, and avoid excessive speed
- Make sure the route is clear before going down the hill
- Always face forward and never go down the hill headfirst
- Clear the path quickly after stopping
- Walk up the sides of the sledding area
- Tuck in all scarves, drawstrings, and long toques
Please note
The Town of Innisfil is not responsible for any injury or property damage. All toboggan hills are unsupervised, and you should use them at your own risk. The use of spinning saucers is prohibited. Do not alter the hill or build jumps as they can be difficult to see and cause injury. Any alcohol and drug use at the hill is prohibited.
