Innisfil, ON – A generous donation from the The Cove Café will help to keep the three Troy Scott Community Fridges stocked for those in need of this free service. This is thanks to Cove owner Robert Saunders who each year chooses an organization to support during the month of December. All donations made by customers are then matched by The Cove Café.

“Raising funds for local organizations is something we have been doing for years and it makes all of us – our customers and staff – proud to be able to give back to the community,” says Saunders. “This year we made a donation to the Town of Innisfil for $1386.50 which will be used to help stock the fridges.”

The Troy Scott Community Fridges are located outside at the Innisfil Recreation Complex and the Cookstown Library and inside at the Alcona (Lakeshore) Library. Guidelines for what can be accepted are found at innisfil.ca/communityfridge.

The Cove Café is located at 902 Lockhart Road, Innisfil.
