Team Feature: Clerk Services
The Town's Clerk Services team plays a pivotal role in helping to shape Innisfil’s future by delivering essential administrative functions and management of municipal governance in alignment with our "Community First, Future Ready, Balance Always" vision. This includes records management, records retention and disposal, and responding to freedom of information requests under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
Every four years, Clerk Services plays an important role in administering local municipal elections managing voter registration and polling logistics and ensuring compliance with the Municipal Elections Act. This team also prepares agendas and circulates minutes for the Town’s council and committee meetings, and supports a number of Town committees including the Innisfil Heritage Advisory Committee and the Innisfil Accessibility Advisory Committee.
Clerk Services also provides a range of services for couples wishing to get married, including the issuance of marriage licenses and civil marriage ceremonies.
