Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is inviting residents to Coffee Chats with Council on Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lakeshore Branch of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library.

This community-focused event offers residents a welcoming space to meet members of Town Council, ask questions, and share ideas and feedback about local priorities, all while enjoying a cup of coffee.

“Our goal is to make it as easy and approachable as possible for residents to engage with their Council,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “We want to hear what’s on people’s minds, listen to their concerns, and work together to shape the future of our town. These conversations are essential to building a strong and connected community.”

During the event, residents will have the opportunity to:

  • Speak one-on-one with their Ward Councillor
  • Learn about ongoing and upcoming Town projects and services
  • Share their ideas on key community issues such as infrastructure, parks, housing, and local growth

Free snacks, refreshments, and activities will be provided.

To continue fostering open dialogue in the community, the Town is also hosting a related event in collaboration with the local school boards. Tea with School Trustees will take place on Tuesday, May 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lakeshore Branch. This is an opportunity for families and residents to connect with local school trustees, ask questions about education in Innisfil, and share their input.

Both events are part of the Town’s ongoing commitment to meaningful public engagement and are supported by the Electoral Engagement Advisory Committee. For more information, visit innisfil.ca/events.
