Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is pleased to announce that its “Share the Love” campaign was a heartfelt success, with 13 couples choosing to say “I do” at Innisfil Town Hall on Valentine’s Day. Fees collected from civil marriage ceremonies held that day were donated to support the Troy Scott Community Fridges, raising a total of $4,550.

“We are incredibly grateful to the couples who chose to celebrate their love with us on Valentine’s Day,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “Their participation not only created beautiful memories but will also make a meaningful impact across Innisfil through the Troy Scott Community Fridges.”

The Troy Scott Community Fridges and pantries rely on a “neighbours helping neighbours” approach to ensure everyone in the community has access to nutritious food whenever they need it. The community fridges are located outdoors to provide 24/7 barrier-free access:

  • At the north entrance of the Innisfil Recreational Complex, 7315 Yonge Street
  • On the west side of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library – Cookstown Branch, 20 Church Street
  • On the west side of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library – Lakeshore Branch, 967 Innisfil Beach Road
