Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is bringing back its “Music in the Park” series to offer free, live music to community members and shine a spotlight on local talent. Happening this July and August, these events showcase a variety of music genres set in beautiful parks throughout town.

“We’re excited to bring our community together with Music in the Park again this summer,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for family, friends, and neighbours to enjoy live music while giving local performers a platform to entertain and share their talents. Make sure to bring your own seating, whether it’s a lawn chair or a cozy blanket, and settle in for several evenings of great tunes!”

The 2024 Music in the Park schedule features:

  • July 9 at Innisfil Town Square – The Boathouse Blues Project
  • July 16 at Innisfil Beach Park – The Fitzees
  • July 23 at Cookstown Community Park – Kyle Wauchope
  • July 30 at Innisfil Town Square – 93 North
  • August 6 at Innisfil Beach Park – Rainstone
  • August 13 at Cookstown Community Park – Cruisin Vocal Band
  • August 20 at Innisfil Town Square – 89 Klicks
  • August 27 at Innisfil Beach Park – Cara & Leo Acoustic

Music in the Park has expanded this year to include free activities, lawn games, and food vendors to add to the musical experiences. Attendees can also support the Town’s Fee Assistance in Recreation (FAIR) program with the purchase of Kernels popcorn on-site! Each event runs from 6 to 8 p.m., with live music starting at 6:30 p.m.
