Innisfil, ON – Free, no-appointment counselling services are now available for young people in the Town of Innisfil. CFS Counselling + Wellbeing (CFS) and the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library are partnering to offer a YouthCALL Walk-In Counselling Clinic for youth ages 12 to 25.

“This partnership helps us bring accessible mental health services to Innisfil’s youth,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “We’re grateful to YouthCALL and the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library for supporting our young people in managing their mental health concerns and life’s difficulties in a welcoming, inclusive environment."

The professional counselling clinic offers walk-in services for a wide range of mental health concerns every Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Lakeshore Branch (967 Innisfil Beach Road).

"We’re happy to partner with CFS to bring the YouthCALL Walk-In Counselling Clinic to the Library,” says Erin Scuccimarri, CEO of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library. “With more teens reaching out for support, it’s essential to provide accessible, immediate resources in spaces where they already feel welcome. This partnership highlights our commitment to providing a supportive space while encouraging young people to get the help they need in a place they know and trust."

CFS’ YouthCALL counsellors provide confidential, nonjudgmental support, helping youth navigate life’s challenges and build on their strengths. No pre-registration or referral is required. Youth can access services on a first-come, first-served basis.

YouthCALL connects youth across Simcoe County to mental health and well-being services. In addition to the latest walk-in counselling service, YouthCALL offers a variety of in-person and virtual programs to help youth develop social connections, build skills, and access community services.

“We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library to bring professional and inclusive counselling services to the youth of Innisfil,” says Amanda Fellows, CFS’ Community Programs Manager. “This walk-in clinic is part of CFS’ strategy to improve access to service by establishing community-based locations.”

The walk-in counselling service in Innisfil is supported in part through the Town’s Building Safer Communities project. For more information, people are encouraged to call/text YouthCALL at 705-790-2338 or email YouthCALL@cfssc.ca.
