Town of Innisfil seeks input into budget
Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is inviting residents to participate in an online survey to help inform its 2023 and 2024 budget development.
Every two years, the Town develops a municipal budget to determine the cost of providing services to residents. The Operating and Capital budgets are then presented to Council for adoption.
“The Town’s budget process is very thorough, taking into consideration the services you value the most while also planning for future growth,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “Resident input is so important in this process and everyone is strongly encouraged to complete the survey to share their thoughts on how your taxpayer dollars should be spent.”
The Operating budget addresses ongoing operational requirements needed to deliver services to residents such as pothole repairs, snow clearing and park maintenance. The Capital budget focuses on asset acquisition and replacement requirements such as road-widening, new parks and facilities and construction.
The short survey, along with more information can be found at Innisfil's 2023/2024 Budget Get Involved page and will remain open until October 7, 2022.
