Innisfil, Ontario – The Town of Innisfil launched its improved online experience today, featuring a completely transformed website and new citizen service portal named MyInnisfil.

“We’re always looking for ways to improve communication between the municipality and our community,” said Mayor Lynn Dollin. “The new innisfil.ca and MyInnisfil portal create a seamless integration between finding important town information and using digital service offerings. We’re thankful to all of the community members who participated in the process, from giving us feedback early in the project to testing the site before it went live.”

The website features refreshed content and improved navigation, design and accessibility while integrating several new functions, including:

  • The ability to subscribe to email notifications for news, events and individual page updates
  • Live chat with customer service
  • A mapping tool that shows Innisfil’s community halls, recreational centres, parks and more

The website is also designed to be responsive so that it is easy to view on any type of device, including smartphones and tablets.

The new MyInnisfil portal offers Innisfil residents a way to create their own personal dashboard of municipal services. After registering for an account, people can add and move widgets to create a personalized view with the information that matters to them. With a MyInnisfil account, residents can:

  • View council information, including their ward and councillor
  • Receive notifications when new information is available on the portal, including snow events, road closures, and more
  • View information on their property taxes
  • View recreational amenities and parks near their address
  • View upcoming community events and council meetings
  • Purchase a burn permit or dog licence

Both the website and citizen portal are now live, but will continue to evolve and improve based on resident feedback over time. In the coming months, MyInnisfil will be home to all of the Town’s digital services. Community members are encouraged to check out the new website or create a MyInnisfil account.
