Innisfil, ON – In response to the ice storm that hit parts of the Simcoe County region in March, the Town of Innisfil has been working to clean up brush and tree-related debris across the municipality.

The Town of Innisfil partnered with the County of Simcoe to open a temporary brush drop-off site in Innisfil, located at 675 Big Bay Point Road, on April 16 to assist residents with storm cleanup. After May 17, the Town of Innisfil will operate the site on Fridays and Saturdays for the rest of the month (beginning on May 23), with a possible extension based on ongoing need.

Innisfil residents and contractors working on Innisfil properties can drop off storm-related brush at no charge from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Residents and contractors should be prepared to show proof of address. No limits apply. No other waste or debris materials can be accepted at this location.

The County has also waived brush drop-off fees at all County waste facilities until the end of June. For the latest curbside collection information, please visit simcoe.ca/waste.
