Several roads in the Town of Innisfil are closed as of 12:45 p.m. on March 30, 2025 until further notice due to icy conditions and downed trees and powerlines.

- Mapleview Drive (20th Sideroad to 25th Sideroad)

Caution is essential: Many smaller streets are also impacted, particularly those with mature trees. Overhanging branches and falling limbs are a major risk, especially with trees still heavy with ice build-up. In some cases, trees are resting on powerlines, adding another hazard. Please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.
If you see a downed powerline, always assume it is live and deadly. Stay at least 10 metres away (the length of a school bus), and call your local utility immediately.
