As part of the Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Improvements project, the following roads will be closed to local traffic and emergency vehicles only starting at 7 a.m. on August 25, 2025:
- Buchanan Street
- Crystal Beach Road (Hartley Road to Roberts Road)
- Roberts Road (Crystal Beach Road to Alderslea Crescent)
- Tall Tree Lane
The closure is expected to last until mid-October 2025.
Construction includes a new trunk sanitary sewer and improved drainage within the project area. See the construction notice for full details.
