Road closure: 10th Line

10th Line from Dempster Avenue to 10th Sideroad will be temporarily closed due to bridge reconstruction on June 6, 2023 at 7 a.m. to July 18, 2023 at 5 p.m. Local traffic only—no through access.

What to expect

The bridge at Lovers' Creek requires reconstruction as part of the road work along 10th Line. The subcontractor, Alexman Inc., will be on site to complete removals and reconstruction of the concrete deck.

Working hours are expected to be between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Some work on Saturdays may be required. Due to the nature of construction, loud noise and dust may occur during daytime hours. 

Construction and pre-warning road closure signage will be installed and appropriate detour signage will be marked. Notices of any changes to the road closures or detours will be provided with as much notice as possible.

Public road access

There will be a full road closure at the bridge over Lovers' Creek and no through traffic will be permitted. Residents located on the east side of the bridge will have access from Yonge Street. Residents located on the west side of the bridge will have access from 10th Sideroad. Driveway access to your residence or business will be maintained throughout construction.
