Back to SearchInnisfil, ON – A funeral service for Constables Devon Northrup and Morgan Russell will be held at 11 a.m. on October 20 at the Sadlon Arena in Barrie, Ontario.
Members of the public are invited to observe the funeral procession as it travels from the Adams Funeral Home and Cremation Services Ltd. (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie) and the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley Street, Barrie) to the Sadlon Arena, but the funeral is not open to the public. The exact route will be made available by South Simcoe Police in the coming days.
The Innisfil Community Church (1571 Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil) has graciously offered to broadcast the funeral at 11 a.m. for members of the community that wish to join in person. Please arrive early to allow for parking and seating accommodations. A link to view at home will be provided once it is made available.
There will be a small reception post-broadcast at the church where members of the public can gather and mourn together.
As a reminder, books of condolence are available at Innisfil Town Hall and Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Administration Office. An online book of condolence is available on South Simcoe Police’s website. Individuals can also pre-order memorial pins to support the families of our fallen officers.
