Mayor's Golf Tournament raises $90,000 for Innisfil Community Foundation
Innisfil, ON – The annual Innisfil Mayor’s Golf Tournament returned to The Nest at Friday Harbour Resort on June 16, where golfers hit the links for a day of friendly competition and community impact. This year’s event raised $90,000 for the Innisfil Community Foundation.
"Each year, this tournament is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. "I’m always moved by the generosity and enthusiasm of our players, sponsors, donors, volunteers and the incredible team at The Nest. The success of this tournament will help the Innisfil Community Foundation continue its important work addressing local needs.”
The Innisfil Community Foundation partners with local charities and non-profit organizations to address critical social issues such as poverty, food insecurity, and mental health. All tournament proceeds will go directly toward these initiatives, helping to improve lives across the Innisfil community.
"Our community greatly benefits from the generous contributions made through the Mayor's Golf Tournament. The funds raised enable the Innisfil Community Foundation to support local organizations that serve diverse community needs,” says Sandra Rizzardo, Chair of the Innisfil Community Foundation. “By investing in these essential organizations, we enhance community well-being and enrich the lives of all Innisfil residents. We’re grateful to the participants and sponsors whose support makes a significant difference."
