Our learning and development strategy solidifies our commitment to high-performance, dynamic learning opportunities. It supports the change necessary for the organization and our employees to move us toward the desired corporate culture and community-focused approach to excellence in service delivery and delivering on our corporate priorities and strategic objectives. In addition to corporate focused and position specific training, we encourage our staff to take their development to the next level by linking personal goals and development to service area strategies—ensuring each team member is able to build on their strengths and contribute to improved team performance.

Most recently, we’ve taken learning and development online through a learning management system, allowing us to diversify and implement training delivery methods, such as e-learning and mobile learning, to allow greater access to learning for all staff, regardless of location. It also allows us the flexibility to create engaging custom in-house courses and link learning to performance and development plans.
