Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is pleased to announce that $4200 was raised for the Troy Scott Community Fridges through the 2026 annual Share the Love campaign, held on Valentine’s Day.

“Share the Love is a community tradition that celebrates the love couples share, but also turns that joy outward,” said Mayor Lynn Dollin. “It gives couples a special way to share their happiness and make a difference in the lives of others. We’re grateful to everyone who chose to host their ceremony with us and contribute to this wonderful initiative.”

This year, 12 couples participated, either exchanging vows for the first time or renewing their commitment during civil marriage ceremonies at Innisfil Town Hall. All ceremony fees collected through the event are donated, transforming each couple’s personal milestone into meaningful community support.

The Troy Scott Community Fridges are a neighbours-helping-neighbours initiative that helps ensure everyone in Innisfil has access to nutritious food when they need it. Funds raised through Share the Love enable Town staff to purchase fresh produce, prepared meals, and essential personal care items to keep the fridges and pantries well-stocked.

The community fridges are located outdoors at:

  • Innisfil Recreational Complex – North entrance, 7315 Yonge Street
  • Innisfil ideaLAB & Library - Cookstown Branch – West side, 20 Church Street
  • Innisfil ideaLAB & Library - Lakeshore Branch – West side, 967 Innisfil Beach Road
