The Town of Innisfil is undertaking a review of its Council composition and ward boundaries. The last review was done more than a decade ago and with the growth of Innisfil, Town Council approved the creation of an ad-hoc committee to review this process.

“This review will help guide us as we continue to grow and ensure appropriate representation in all areas of Innisfil,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “There are a number of community engagement opportunities available for residents including an in-person session and two virtual sessions.”

To learn more, you can join a drop-in session at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library on April 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Lakeshore Branch and you can also sign up for virtual sessions on April 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. You can register for these sessions at getinvolvedinnisfil.ca/wardreview.

Additionally, residents are invited to test their knowledge about Innisfil through an online quiz which can be found at How Well Do You Know Your Town? Survey (surveymonkey.com).
