Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is hosting public and virtual open houses as part of Round 2 of the Transit Master Plan (TMP) project.

“We’re excited to continue the conversation with our community as we plan the next chapter for public transit in Innisfil,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “Your feedback in Round 1 helped shape the options we’re now presenting, and we encourage everyone to take part, whether in person or online, to help ensure our transit system grows in a way that reflects your needs.”

Drop-in public open houses are scheduled from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on:

  • Tuesday, April 15 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 547 (1017 Robinson Street)
  • Thursday, April 17 at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Lakeshore Branch (967 Innisfil Beach Road)

Light refreshments will be provided and participants are encouraged to pre-register.

To accommodate community members who are unable to attend in person, a virtual open house is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 from 12 to 1 p.m. Participants must register online.

Building on the first round of public engagement, these open houses will give participants the opportunity to:

  • Review proposed options for the future of Innisfil’s public transit system
  • Comment on how Innisfil’s public transit system should evolve in the future
  • Connect with Town staff and the consulting team regarding the project and ask questions

In addition to the public open houses, the Town will also host a second survey with more detailed questions on the proposed options and opportunities to provide feedback on each of them.
