Failure Toy Workshop
Join us for a unique and fun event that will redefine your approach to challenges and innovation. The "Failure Toy " workshop is designed to transform your relationship with failure, turning it into a stepping stone for success.

This in-person workshop will provide you with insights to understand risk, feedback, competition, and how these factors shape your dynamics. You'll learn practical strategies to bounce back from setbacks, navigate risks, and set clear, achievable goals.
Lakehead University South Simcoe Innovation Week
The Town of Innisfil and Lakehead University will be hosting the first-ever Lakehead University South Simcoe Innovation Week from April 30 to May 2, in partnership with Nottawasaga Futures, the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury and the County of Simcoe.
The event, funded in part by the County of Simcoe Entrepreneurial Innovation Fund, will bring together entrepreneurial thinkers from across Simcoe County to access business and innovation oriented workshops and events.

Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship Expo
Save the date! The 2024 Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship Expo will be taking place at the Elmvale Community Arena on May 15, 2024.
The event will be open to the public and free of charge from 4 to 7 p.m.
There will be organizations representing over 25 different skilled trades with hands-on activities for people of all ages!

South Simcoe Business Excellence Awards
The South Simcoe Business Excellence Awards will be taking place on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Adjala-Tosorontio Township Office (7855 30th Sideroad Alliston, ON L9R 1V1).
The South Simcoe Business Excellence Awards is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates the achievements and successes of businesses across South Simcoe. The awards recognize businesses in a variety of categories. The awards are open to any business located within South Simcoe, and nominations are typically accepted in the months leading up to the awards ceremony.
The event is organized by Nottawasaga Futures, an organization that supports economic development in the region.
