Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil invites leaders of tomorrow and all community members to get to know their local government through a series of educational sessions happening throughout the year. Designed to empower youth and foster greater civic participation, the sessions will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the Town of Innisfil and its role in shaping the community's future.

"Understanding how local government operates is crucial for fostering a strong and engaged community,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “These sessions offer a unique opportunity for residents, especially our youth, to learn, participate, and contribute to the betterment of our town. I encourage everyone to join us and discover the inner workings of the Town of Innisfil."

During these introductory sessions, participants will delve into various aspects of local governance, learning about the services provided by different levels of government and how property tax dollars are used. Attendees will also have the chance to pose their questions and engage in insightful discussions about the Town's operations and initiatives. Whether you're curious about how decisions are made or eager to play an active role in your community, these sessions offer a gateway to deeper understanding and involvement.
