Innisfil Town Council joined Community for Kids (C4K) to kick off their 2024 Toy Drive at Town Hall on November 13. The annual campaign invites community members to donate new, unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items and gift cards to support local families in need.

“The holidays can be a stressful time for families, especially when faced with financial difficulties,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “C4K’s work not only eases that burden but also spreads holiday cheer in the form of much-needed support and joy. It’s an inspiring example of what can happen when community members pull together.”

Residents are encouraged to drop off donations at Innisfil Town Hall (2101 Innisfil Beach Road) during operating hours and at other participating locations:

“The need for support continues to grow, reflecting the increased challenges that come with rising costs of basic necessities like food, gas, and rent,” says Myrlene Boken, C4K President. “In 2023, we were able to assist 205 families, totalling over 700 individuals—primarily children and teens. We’re so thankful to our generous community members and businesses for contributing their time, money, and word of mouth to grow our services.”
