South Innisfil Arboretum will be temporarily closed due to trail construction beginning July 4, 2023 at 8 a.m. The work is scheduled to be completed by the last week of July 2023, weather permitting.

What to expect

The Town is constructing a two-metre-wide limestone screenings trail at South Innisfil Arboretum and a two-metre-wide asphalt trail connecting the existing Nantyr Drive and Ralston Loop walkways. The trails will conform to AODA standards.

Approximate construction dates for each trail are as follows:

  • South Innisfil Arboretum Trail - July 4 to last week of July 2023
  • Nantyr Drive/ Ralston Loop Trail - mid-July to end of July 2023
